AMS Wins C-130 Contract
Managing partners from Aerospace Maintenance Solutions (AMS) announce the company has won a five-year contract to support C-130 aircraft at Warner-Robins Air Force Base outside of Atlanta, GA. It starts in 2012 and ends in 2017.
The contract is for the repair and maintenance of the H3 MACAWS systems in support of several C-130 aircraft. AMS provide all services, materials, and equipment, including test and evaluation equipment, that is necessary for the contract.
The H3 MACAWS systems includes Caution Advisory Panels, Mode Select Panels, and electronic flight assembly instrumentation.
Repair and maintenance of all systems are accomplished by AMS in accordance with the appropriate Performance Work Specifications. Procurement officials at Warner-Robins Air Force Base require that AMS personnel comply with the ISO standard 9001-2000. AMS is ISO 9001: 2008 certified.
Performance-based logistics programs from AMS help Warner-Robins and other U.S. Air Force bases increase their mission capabilities and readiness by improving parts availability. AMS also helps allied air forces in other countries mitigate “Diminishing Material Source” issues and reduce their repair turn-around times of electronics, instrumentation, and other critical components on board C-130, F-5, F-15, F-16, UH-1, UH-60, AH-1, and other military aircraft.
